Driver dies, two seriously injured in Aydın traffic accident

A severe traffic accident in the Karacasu district of Aydın, Turkey, has resulted in one fatality and two individuals sustaining serious injuries. The crash occurred in the evening hours in the Çamköy neighborhood.

The vehicle, identified by license plate 20 AOG 918, was being driven by 58-year-old Hüseyin Gözataş. Reports indicate that Gözataş lost control of the car, leading to the accident. Emergency services, including health, gendarmerie, and fire departments, were dispatched to the scene.

Hüseyin Gözataş was pronounced dead at the scene. The passengers in the vehicle, Gülten Koç, 59, and Emin Şahin, 60, were critically injured. They received initial medical attention at the scene before being transported to Nazilli State Hospital due to their life-threatening conditions.

Following an examination by the public prosecutor, Gözataş's body was taken to the Nazilli State Hospital morgue. An investigation into the cause and circumstances of the accident is currently ongoing.
