Driver Seriously Injured After Car Slams Into Trees in Germany

A 24-year-old man sustained severe injuries and became trapped in his vehicle following a car accident in Witzwort, located in the Nordfriesland district of Germany. The incident occurred when the man's car veered off the road during a curve in the early hours of Sunday morning, subsequently spinning and colliding with two trees. The impact severely deformed the car, trapping the driver inside. Authorities have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening.

Initially, the driver reported that a woman had been present in the car with him. However, an extensive search by the fire department and police, utilizing a thermal imaging drone, failed to locate anyone else at the accident site. The woman was later found unharmed at her residence, having been dropped off by the driver prior to the accident. Investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing, and a blood test has been administered.
