Driver Threatens Officer Over Illegal Window Tint in Bishkek

A driver in Bishkek escalated a traffic stop into a confrontation by threatening a police officer over illegal window tinting. The incident occurred when officers patrolling the capital stopped a Lexus LX600 for having unauthorized tint film on its windows.

During the process of documenting the violation, the driver exhibited aggressive behavior. He refused to remove the tint film immediately and also declined to sign the official report. The patrol officers informed him that his vehicle could be towed to an impound lot if he continued to refuse compliance.

Following the explanation of legal consequences, the man eventually agreed to sign the document. He had previously threatened the police officer, reportedly saying he would "break his back" and challenging him to a physical confrontation. The window tint was subsequently removed at the scene.

Authorities have issued a reminder to drivers about the legal responsibilities and consequences of disobeying lawful orders from police officers. A report was filed against the man for the offense.
