Drua fight back to secure first Super W win

The McDonald's Fijian Drua Women achieved a stirring second-half comeback to secure their first win of the Super W season, triumphing over the Western Force 29-24 at Churchill Park in Lautoka. Roared on by a passionate home crowd, the Drua overcame a sluggish start to claim a memorable victory.

The visitors came out strong, putting the Drua under immediate pressure and building a 14-5 lead by halftime. Despite struggling to find their rhythm in the opening period, the Drua remained within striking distance, notably with a try from Josivini Naihamu.

Whatever was said at halftime clearly ignited a remarkable turnaround. The Drua emerged with renewed energy and intensity, significantly increasing their tempo and applying sustained pressure on the Force defense.
