Dubai Land Department launches unified digital real estate platform

Dubai Land Department has introduced a single digital platform designed to bring several stages of real estate registration into one system.

The Initial Registration platform integrates project registration, real estate transaction registration and escrow account management. Dubai Land Department said the system uses artificial intelligence and automated processes to make services more efficient and transparent.

The launch took place at a ceremony at Grand Hyatt Dubai attended by the department’s acting director general and chief executives. The department presented the platform as a way to help developers navigate the registration process and prepare the real estate sector for further growth.

The initiative also fits within a wider government framework announced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai. The framework aims to have 50% of UAE government sectors, services and operations run through autonomous, self-executing artificial intelligence models, known as Agentic AI, within two years.

The department said the platform would reinforce Dubai’s position as a global destination for real estate investment.
