Dubai Police graduate 286 students from Hatta summer programme

Dubai Police have celebrated the graduation of 286 students from their Hatta Summer Student Programme, an initiative designed to cultivate young people's national identity, leadership skills, discipline, and sense of community responsibility.

The program, organized by the Hemaya International Centre under the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, operated under the theme "Our Summer ... Safety, Happiness, Innovation and Leadership." It was a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Education, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), various government bodies, and multiple Dubai Police departments.

Major General Hareb Mohammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander in Chief for Criminal Affairs, emphasized Dubai Police's ongoing commitment to such summer programs. He stated that these activities allow students to utilize their holidays productively while developing essential personal and leadership qualities. Al Shamsi described the students as the nation's most valuable asset and the bedrock of its future, highlighting how these programs reinforce national identity, respect for laws, loyalty to leadership, and a spirit of service.

Brigadier Khalid Bin Muwaiza, Director of the General Department of Anti-Narcotics, noted that the Hemaya International Centre consistently delivers awareness, educational, and training initiatives for diverse societal segments, with the Summer Student Programme being a key project. Brigadier Mubarak Al Ketbi, Director of Hatta Police Station, added that this year's program brought together 286 students from seven different nationalities. They participated in a comprehensive schedule of military and sports training aimed at enhancing discipline, teamwork, and personal growth. The program also included 11 educational lectures, guidance from 19 specialized work teams, support from 13 volunteers, and five training courses focused on practical and developmental skills.

The graduation ceremony concluded with impressive military displays by the students, including a formation spelling out "Proud of UAE." Performances by the Riot Control Unit, the Cycling Team, the Mounted Unit, and the K9 Unit further showcased the participants' training and the capabilities of Dubai Police.
