Dynamic Perscoba 96 launches 30th anniversary with sporting extravaganza

The 1996 year group of St. Peter's Old Boys Association, known as Dynamic Perscoba 96, kicked off its 30th anniversary with a vibrant sporting and social gathering on July 3, 2026. The event, held at the Mary Mother of Good Counsel School Grounds, celebrated brotherhood, legacy, and excellence under the theme "30 Years On."

The Anniversary Games saw old students, families, and guests engage in a day of sportsmanship and fellowship. Strong turnouts from the 1995, 1997, and 1998 PERSCOBA year groups added to the festive atmosphere, with visiting groups contributing food and refreshments. Organizers ensured a professional setup, including canopies, sound systems, and photography, with a first aid station staffed by a professional nurse ensuring participant safety.

30 Years On: Celebrating Brotherhood, Legacy and Excellence

Activities commenced with an aerobics session, followed by a football match where a combined team of 1995, 1996, and 1997 members drew 2-2 with the 1998 team, who ultimately won on penalties. Anthony Akuamoah Boateng, Chairman of the 30th Anniversary Planning Committee, officially launched the celebrations, emphasizing the milestone as an opportunity to strengthen bonds and build a stronger future.

Global President Justice David Boafo commended the committee and encouraged active participation in the anniversary year's events, also briefing attendees on preparations for the association's 70th anniversary. The day concluded with music, food, drinks, and board games, with attendees staying until around 5:00 pm, well past the scheduled 2:00 pm end. The committee acknowledged significant sponsorship from Alistair Djimatey of the 1995 year group through Blue Skies.
