Dynamo Kyiv coach praises PAOK's Konstantelias: 'We don't have players like him'

PAOK's young Greek talent, Giannis Konstantelias, delivered a star performance, scoring two crucial goals to lead his team to a 2-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv and secure their advancement in the Europa League qualifiers. The win propelled PAOK into the third qualifying round.

Konstantelias, often referred to as 'Delias', showcased exceptional skill and individual brilliance throughout the match. His performance did not go unnoticed by the opposing coach, Igor Kostyuk of Dynamo Kyiv, who openly admired the Greek midfielder after the game.

Kostyuk lauded Konstantelias, highlighting the significant difference in quality he brought to the match. "In my opinion, PAOK won today's match because of Konstantelias, who scored twice, Konstantelias," the Dynamo Kyiv coach stated. He further added, "We don't have players of Konstantelias's level. In the first half, we were better, but PAOK changed tactics well."

The Dynamo Kyiv coach also commented on the psychological shift in the game, suggesting that Konstantelias's early goal, following the early exit of his teammate Volosyn from the game, allowed him to score. Despite the loss and elimination, Kostyuk mentioned that Dynamo Kyiv would continue their preparation in Poland due to the ongoing inability to use their home stadium in Ukraine and the lack of fan support.
