Eagle-Eyed Detectives Crack 'Asia Tungsten King' Murder Case in 11 Days

Pingtung police have successfully apprehended a suspect in the brutal murder of a former "Asia Tungsten King" chairman, concluding a swift 11-day investigation. The case presented significant challenges from the outset, with the victim's residential security cameras mysteriously disabled on the day of the incident, and heavy rainfall washing away crucial outdoor evidence, leaving the investigation in a critical state.

Investigators formed a special task force, employing an "eagle eye" approach to meticulously sift through the complex web of the victim's business and personal connections. They also conducted detailed interviews with current and former employees, cross-referencing information to build a network analysis. The crime scene's remote location and the adverse weather conditions further complicated the process, with surrounding surveillance footage being blurry and intermittent.

During their investigation, police identified a former employee in his 30s, surnamed Lin, as a prime suspect. Lin had a close relationship with the chairman, even handling personal errands after his departure from the company.
