East Jakarta and South Tangerang KPUs benchmark integrity zones in Tangerang City

The General Election Commission (KPU) of East Jakarta and South Tangerang conducted a benchmarking visit to the KPU of Tangerang City in Banten. The primary focus of this exchange was the development of Integrity Zones, aiming to achieve the status of Corruption-Free Areas (Wilayah Bebas dari Korupsi - WBK) and Clean and Serving Bureaucracy (Wilayah Birokrasi Bersih dan Melayani - WBBM).

According to Fandu Dwiadma Oktavirawan, Secretary of KPU Kota Tangerang, the visit served as a platform for sharing experiences and best practices among different work units. The goal is to strengthen professional and integrity-based institutional governance. "Through this visit, we can share experiences and innovations developed by each work unit," Fandu stated.

During the visit, participants were given a tour of the 'Lorong Pemilu' (Election Hall). This facility is designed as an electoral education resource by KPU Kota Tangerang, providing accessible information and education about elections to the public. The hall offers insights into the history of elections in Indonesia, Tangerang City's electoral history, and various public information services and innovations offered by the KPU.
