Ebonyi communities endorse PDP gov candidate

Residents from various communities within Ebonyi State's Afikpo Local Government Areas have officially endorsed Ifeanyichukwuma Odii, the governorship candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). The endorsement, which took place on Wednesday, signals strong support for Odii ahead of the gubernatorial elections scheduled for February 6, 2027.

Ifeanyichukwuma Odii is the only option left for the Ebonyi people to show direction and provide the needed leadership. With the way the state is currently governed, if we don’t join hands to bring somebody who has the capacity and competence to lead, we are all headed for a serious problem.

Supporters articulated that Odii possesses the necessary qualities, exposure, competence, and connections to significantly improve Ebonyi State. The event, dubbed "Street Endorsement for Odii," featured prominent PDP figures who emphasized the urgency of electing a leader capable of transforming the state.

Mrs. Chinyere Nwele, the PDP Woman Leader in Ebonyi State, stated that Odii represents the "only option left" for the people of Ebonyi to set a new direction and provide essential leadership. She warned that without a competent leader, the state faces serious problems, highlighting Odii's capacity, integrity, and experience as crucial for liberating Ebonyi.

Therefore, it will be a huge mistake on the part of our people to return someone without the experience, focus and love for Ebonyi people to govern Ebonyi State again come 2027. We have to all join hands to save Ebonyi State; and the only way this can be possible is by strongly standing with and supporting the PDP candidate, Odii, come 2027.

Echoing these sentiments, Mrs. Maria Nwachi, the PDP senatorial candidate for Ebonyi South Zone in 2027, urged constituents to leverage their Permanent Voter's Cards (PVCs) to secure a brighter future. She described Odii as humble, accessible, and non-discriminatory, drawing a parallel with the transformation observed in Abia State under Governor Alex Otti, and expressed confidence that Odii would bring similar progress to Ebonyi.
