Ecuadorian anti-drug operations yield four arrests and large drug seizure

Ecuadorian police have apprehended four individuals and dismantled several drug distribution points during anti-drug operations conducted across the provinces of Manabí, Carchi, Los Ríos, and Esmeraldas. The National Police reported the successful conclusion of these operations, which targeted the illicit drug trade.

The consolidated report indicates that authorities seized a total of 8,358 grams of marijuana, 75.3 grams of cocaine, and 60 grams of cocaine base. These confiscated substances are estimated to represent approximately 17,469 doses that would have entered the illicit market. In addition to the narcotics, law enforcement agents also confiscated four mobile phones, a digital scale, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
