Ecuadorian exports seek growth in the Peruvian market | El Comercio (EC)

Ecuador is actively seeking to expand its export presence in the Peruvian market, with more than 60 Ecuadorian companies engaging in a business-to-business event in Guayaquil.

The event, running over two days, is designed to strengthen Ecuadorian exports, generate commercial partnerships, and uncover new opportunities within Peru. Organized by PRO Ecuador, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between the country's exportable products and key regional buyers, with a focus on building sustainable, long-term commercial relationships.

Among the participating Peruvian buyers is Tiendas Mass Perú, a leading discount retail chain belonging to Grupo Intercorp. Its presence offers significant potential for Ecuadorian products to reach a wide consumer base across Peru. Other Peruvian representatives are interested in sectors including processed foods, beverages, cleaning supplies, personal care items, dairy products, and other mass consumer goods.

This initiative underscores Ecuador's broader strategy to diversify its markets and enhance its international competitiveness. By showcasing the quality and productive capacity of its goods, Ecuador aims to solidify its position in regional markets and leverage foreign trade as a key driver for its productive sectors.
