Eczacıbaşı Dynavit signs Russian-born Italian player Ekaterina Antropova

Eczacıbaşı Dynavit Women's Volleyball Team has bolstered its roster by signing Russian-born Italian player Ekaterina Antropova. The club views the 2003-born diagonal hitter as a significant asset, capable of elevating the team's performance.

Club Manager Bilun Yılmaz expressed enthusiasm for the transfer, highlighting Antropova's exceptional qualities. "Antropova is a very special player who meets the demands of modern volleyball at the highest level, combining her physical strength with technical ability," Yılmaz stated. He further emphasized her "dominant character on the court, high serve and attack efficiency, and ability to change the course of the game."

Yılmaz also pointed to Antropova's experience as an Olympic champion, noting that her "high-level competitive experience and winning habit" align perfectly with the team's objectives. "Her interest in the project we are undertaking as a club and her goals that align with this project make this partnership even more meaningful," he added. The club is confident that together they will achieve significant success.

Antropova brings a decorated career to Eczacıbaşı Dynavit. She has previously won CEV Challenge Cup and CEV Cup titles, earning MVP honors in both competitions. Additionally, she was recognized as the most valuable player and best diagonal hitter at the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Women's Club World Championship.
