Eda Erdem: “I’m Very Happy and Proud”

Turkey captain Eda Erdem said she felt “very happy and proud” after the national team’s European Championship semifinal against Serbia. She also praised the atmosphere in Istanbul, where Turkey played at home.

Erdem also reflected on the demands of remaining at the highest level for many years. She said she continues to work hard, feels supported by a strong team and loves volleyball. As long as her body allows and she can stay at that level, she wants to continue playing and helping the team.
