During an inspection of the Otofure dumpsite, Managing Director Enehita Inegbenehi voiced serious concerns regarding the activities of iron scavengers, whose indiscriminate sifting through waste creates litter and highlights the need for stricter monitoring and public awareness on proper waste disposal. At Okha Market, Inegbenehi engaged directly with traders, cautioning them about the health risks associated with improperly disposed waste, such as attracting rodents that can contaminate food and spread diseases like Lassa fever.
