Eid-el-Kabir: Tinubu Urges Nigerians to Embrace Love, Tolerance

President Bola Tinubu has called on Nigerians to embody the spirit of love, tolerance, and unity as the nation observes the Eid-el-Kabir festival. Speaking to journalists after participating in Eid prayers in Lagos, the President expressed gratitude for the lives preserved to witness another year of celebration and urged citizens to internalize the core lessons of the season.

We thank God, Almighty Allah, who has provided for us and kept us to see another year, another Eid-el-Kabir. We thank Him for His mercy, and we must learn from the lessons of this season by showing love to one another. No discrimination, no ethnicity, no hatred.

Tinubu stressed that the festival calls for mutual love and generosity, urging Nigerians to set aside discrimination based on ethnicity or hatred.
