Eid Festival kicks off in Al Seeb with heritage shows and family activities

The Wilayat of Al Seeb in Oman has kicked off its "Eid Festival," a vibrant three-day event designed to celebrate Eid Al-Adha and foster a strong sense of community.

Organized by the Office of the Wali of Al Seeb in collaboration with Muscat Municipality and various government and private entities, the festival aims to enhance the festive social and cultural atmosphere associated with the holiday. The event is structured with morning and evening sessions to maximize participation and engagement.

A key feature of the festival is a consumer exhibition highlighting productive families from the wilayat. Entrepreneurs from small and medium enterprises, along with street vendors, are showcasing and selling a variety of food products and consumer goods. Ahmed bin Ali Al Shehhi, Wali of Seeb and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, noted the festival's central location is designed to be a social gathering point that reflects the joy of Eid Al-Adha. He added that the large turnout has led organizers to consider making the festival an annual tradition, held during both Eid Al-Fitr and Eid Al-Adha.
