Eko 2026 Games organizers launch official website

The Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the inaugural National Intermediate Games, Eko 2026, has officially launched its website, eko2026.org.

The new platform is designed to offer real-time information and seamless access to all details concerning the upcoming multi-sport event. With a focus on simplicity and user experience, the website features clean fonts, easily readable text, and an intuitive interface, ensuring visitors can quickly find information and complete tasks without frustration.

Gbenga Omotoso, Chairman of the Media and Publicity Sub-Committee, emphasized the website's role as a dynamic hub for updates. "The website is detailed but simple to navigate. We want all our visitors and athletes to know more about the city of Excellence, and that is why the platform will help first-timers get first-hand information about Lagos and the Games," he said.

Omotoso also highlighted Lagos's rich history of hosting significant sporting events, referencing the first National Sports Festival in 1973 and the well-regarded 2012 edition. He assured stakeholders that Eko 2026 will build upon this legacy, aiming to set new benchmarks in youth sports development and promising the "most colourful Games in Nigeria’s history."
