El País Launches Live Streaming Program 'En Clave País' Covering National and International News

Uruguayan newspaper El País has launched "En Clave País," a new daily live streaming program designed to dissect key issues affecting Uruguay and the world. Broadcast live from the newspaper's newsroom each weekday between 10:00 and 11:00 AM, the program aims to bring important topics to the forefront and provide clear explanations for current events.

The inaugural broadcast on August 3 featured Carlos Enciso, the newly elected president of the Congress of Intendants and the mayor of Florida, as a guest. The program also included discussions on the upcoming era of Diego Forlán as coach of the Uruguayan national football team, with insights from Enrique Arrillaga, deputy editor of Ovación. Additionally, Delfina Milder, a journalist specializing in international affairs, provided an analysis of the political situation in Brazil ahead of its elections.

"En Clave País" is hosted by Malena Castaldi, alongside journalists Faustina Bartaburu, who specializes in data, and Joaquín Silva, from the national section. The program draws on the extensive resources of El País's newsroom, which comprises over 60 journalists. It covers a wide array of subjects, including economics, sports, entertainment, and science, leveraging the expertise of specialized reporters. The streaming is available on El País's website and YouTube channel, with subsequent amplification across its social media platforms, which collectively boast a following of 5.2 million.
