El País newspaper launches live streaming program 'En Clave País' with interviews and international contacts

The Uruguayan newspaper El País is launching a new daily live streaming program, 'En Clave País,' broadcast directly from its newsroom. The show aims to bring important national and international topics to the forefront, offering a platform for in-depth discussion and analysis.

Each weekday, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, 'En Clave País' will feature interviews with key figures. The program's inaugural broadcast on July 28 will include an interview with Nicolás Olivera, the mayor of Paysandú. Discussions will cover topics such as the installation of HIF Global in his department, his relationship with Yamandú Orsi, internal party matters within the National Party, and the budget review currently before Parliament.

The program will also connect with international news, featuring journalists from El País and El Comercio of Peru. They will discuss the upcoming inauguration of Keiko Fujimori, which will be attended by the Uruguayan president. Hosted by Malena Castaldi, with contributions from data specialist Faustina Bartaburu and national affairs journalist Joaquín Silva, 'En Clave País' will leverage the expertise of El País's extensive newsroom. The streaming will be available on the newspaper's homepage and YouTube, with subsequent amplification across their social media channels, which collectively boast 5.2 million followers.
