Elderly man with Alzheimer's missing since Monday in Independencia

An urgent search is underway for Delfín Amaro, an elderly man with Alzheimer's who disappeared on Monday in the Independencia district of Lima, Peru. His family is appealing to the public for help in finding him, as his condition makes him particularly vulnerable.

Amaro was last seen in the Los Alisos area, near the Naranjal station of the Metropolitano. According to his daughter, a witness reported seeing him near a gas station in Los Alisos. He was invited into a vehicle for assistance but chose to exit near the Liz bakery, continuing on foot towards the Los Incas market. This location is believed to be one of the last places he was sighted.
