Election not war, Osun ZLP candidate cautions against killings

Olufemi Adesuyi, the governorship candidate for the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Osun State, has issued a strong warning against political violence and extrajudicial killings. He urged politicians to refrain from shielding criminals and cautioned that their ambitions should not lead to the shedding of residents' blood.

That will definitely affect the credibility of the forthcoming August 15 gubernatorial election. Politics should be a contest of ideas and service, not a do-or-die affair that puts lives at risk.
