Endrick Stars as Brazil Edges Egypt 2-1 in Pre-World Cup Friendly

Teenage sensation Endrick emerged as Brazil's hero, netting the decisive goal that led the Selecao to a 2-1 victory over Egypt in their final warm-up match before the World Cup. The 18-year-old forward made an immediate impact after being substituted in the second half, converting a pass from Raphinha to ensure Brazil concluded their training camp with a win at Huntington Bank Field.

Brazil had taken an early lead in the seventh minute when Bruno Guimaraes capitalized on an error by Egypt's midfielder Mohanad Lashin. However, a lapse in the Brazilian defense allowed Egypt to equalize. Mostafa Zico found the net after exploiting a weak pass from Marquinhos to goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Brazil will commence their Group C campaign against Morocco on June 13, followed by matches against Scotland and Haiti. Egypt, in Group G, will begin their tournament against Belgium on June 15.
