England captain Harry Kane has confirmed he played golf with US President Donald Trump, describing the experience as "surreal." The revelation backs up claims made by the US president.

Speaking to reporters ahead of England's World Cup quarterfinal match against Norway, Kane detailed the encounter, which took place about 18 months prior when Trump invited him to play at his Palm Beach, Florida, golf course. Kane, 32, is preparing for England's World Cup quarterfinal against Norway, a match featuring a duel between two of the tournament's top strikers. Kane has scored six goals, while Norway's Erling Haaland has seven. Both trail Kylian Mbappé and Lionel Messi, who have eight goals each.
