Enner Valencia Debuts for Boca Juniors in Copa Sudamericana Rout

Ecuadorian forward Enner Valencia has officially debuted for Boca Juniors, stepping onto the field for the first time since his recent signing. His first official appearance came during Boca Juniors' commanding 4-0 victory over Paraguay's Deportivo Recoleta in the second leg of their Copa Sudamericana round of 16 tie.

Valencia entered the match in the 56th minute, replacing fellow forward Miguel Merentiel. He played more than 30 minutes, actively participating in Boca's offensive pressure and attempting to link up with his new teammates. Although he did not score in his debut, his presence contributed to Boca's dominant performance.

This debut marks Valencia's return to competitive play after more than a month without an official match, his last appearance being with the Ecuadorian national team in July. Boca Juniors secured their place in the quarter-finals with a resounding 7-1 aggregate score over the two legs against Deportivo Recoleta.

The goals for Boca Juniors were scored by Santiago Ascacíbar, Sebastián Villa, Miguel Merentiel, and Alan Velasco. Boca Juniors now awaits the winner of the match between São Paulo of Brazil and Bolívar of Bolivia in the next round.
