Enyimba Supporters Demand Continental Berth in New NPFL Season

Supporters of Enyimba International Football Club in Aba are demanding that the club's management prioritize securing a continental ticket in the upcoming Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season. Their call comes after a disappointing 11th-place finish in the 2025/2026 season, a performance that fell short of expectations for the former continental champions.

Fans expressed their dissatisfaction with the club's previous season, where Enyimba narrowly avoided relegation. "Enyimba is a household name and has become a continental club after winning two CAF trophies; so we are not demanding too much from the club," said supporter Obinna Ohacha, emphasizing the club's legacy. Another supporter, Ekenedirichukwu Odunze, voiced concerns about the recruitment process, hoping management has adequately prepared for the new season.
