EPL: Man City sign teenage star Bouaddi from Lille

Manchester City has secured the signing of highly-rated Moroccan midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi from French club Lille, agreeing to a five-year contract that will keep the teenager at the Etihad Stadium until the summer of 2031.

The 18-year-old arrives in Manchester having already established himself as one of Europe's most promising young talents. Bouaddi made history at Lille, becoming the club's youngest-ever senior player when he debuted shortly after his 16th birthday in 2023. He went on to feature in 96 matches for the French side.

Bouaddi also made a significant impact on the international stage, playing a key role for Morocco in the 2026 World Cup. He started in five of the Atlas Lions' six games as they advanced to the quarterfinals, showcasing his potential on a global platform.
