Erdoğan signs off on appointments published in Official Gazette

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has signed a series of appointments published in Turkey’s Official Gazette.

Ahmet Akcan, deputy director general of the National Real Estate Department, was appointed to the Court of Accounts Prosecutor’s Office. Osman Fadıl Üner was named director of culture and tourism for Bitlis.

The decisions removed Hakan Doğanay as Mersin provincial culture and tourism director and replaced him with Yener Oba, previously the director in Malatya. Abdullah Oğuz was appointed to lead the culture and tourism directorate in Aksaray, while Süleyman Demirtaş was appointed to the post in Samsun.

Faruk Berat Akçeşme was appointed director general for higher education and overseas education at the Education Ministry. At the Trade Ministry, Adil Yıldırım was named director general for support services, liquidation affairs and revolving funds.

The decisions also removed Çiğdem Acar as Düzce provincial trade director. Fatih İncitmez was appointed in Çorum, Hüseyin Yalçın Koca in Hatay, Burak Nerse in Konya and Gazi Dinçaslan in Malatya. Yasin Aydoğan and Recep Aydın were appointed to vacant seats on the board of the Halal Accreditation Authority.
