The crowd had anticipated the performance of Victorino Martín's bulls, which had not appeared in Huesca for thirteen years. However, the bulls, despite being noble and easy to handle, displayed a concerning lack of strength. Only the fifth bull, weighing 582 kilograms, truly embodied the spirit of a Vitorino.

El Cid faced the first bull with a respectable performance, favoring his right hand. His success with the sword was mixed, earning him one ear after a successful, albeit slightly delayed, final thrust. In his second bull, the veteran matador struggled as the animal repeatedly faltered, yet he showed bravery, allowing the bull to recover. Despite some quality passes, he was unsuccessful with the sword, requiring three attempts and a final descabello.

Manuel Escribano impressed with his cape work and banderillas, showing eagerness to please the audience. His performance with the muleta on the first bull was brief and somewhat unsuccessful with the sword. However, in the fifth bull, Escribano made a strong comeback. He expertly placed the banderillas again, captivating the crowd. His muleta work, executed with both hands, showcased skill and composure, demonstrating a deep connection with the bull. This extended, well-executed performance, combined with a clean sword thrust, earned him two ears and a celebrated walk through the "puerta grande."

Morenito de Aranda began his performance with a striking verónica and a long cambiada. He initially worked with the bull's preferred right side, but the animal's tendency to falter limited the performance. His left-handed passes proved more challenging. In the final bull of the afternoon, Morenito de Aranda again showed skill with the cape, though the bull struggled. He bravely engaged the bull with his muleta, even performing passes on his knees, which the audience appreciated, leading to a request for an ear, which was granted.
