ESR and INA Partner on New Logistics Projects in Cikarang, Indonesia

ESR, in collaboration with the Indonesia Investment Authority (INA) and other capital partners, is expanding its investment in Indonesia's logistics sector by constructing two state-of-the-art logistics facilities in Cikarang, West Java. These projects are designed to boost the supply of institutional-grade warehousing and bolster the nation's manufacturing and supply chain capabilities.

Jai Mirpuri, Head of Southeast Asia at ESR, expressed enthusiasm for strengthening the strategic partnership with INA, highlighting Indonesia as a highly attractive market in Southeast Asia due to its robust fundamental growth. "We are very excited to continue strengthening our strategic partnership with INA, after recently achieving successful investment realization for them in Indonesia. Indonesia is one of the most attractive markets in Southeast Asia, supported by strong fundamental growth," Mirpuri stated.

The investment encompasses ESR Cikarang Logistics Park 4, located in the Jababeka Industrial Estate, and ESR Cibitung Distribution Hub, situated in the MM2100 Industrial Town, Bekasi Regency. ESR Cikarang Logistics Park 4, which had its groundbreaking ceremony, is a Grade A industrial and logistics facility slated for completion in 2027. It is intended to be the largest non-captive modern warehouse for third-party logistics (3PL) providers and multinational manufacturing firms requiring connectivity to industrial zones and supply chain networks.

Meanwhile, ESR Cibitung Distribution Hub will be a three-story, Grade A logistics facility in MM2100 Industrial Town, expected to be operational by 2028. This hub will cater to the warehousing needs of regional manufacturing and distribution activities. Both projects are strategically positioned in the eastern Jabodetabek industrial corridor, a key manufacturing and logistics cluster in Indonesia, aiming to enhance the country's logistics infrastructure and support industrial expansion.
