Etihad Airways launches inaugural flight to Tashkent, Uzbekistan's first route with the UAE carrier

Etihad Airways has officially launched its inaugural flight to Tashkent, marking the airline's first route to Uzbekistan. The new daily, non-stop service directly connects Abu Dhabi with one of the fastest-growing aviation markets in the world.

This expansion reinforces Abu Dhabi's position as a premium global gateway. The route facilitates seamless travel for passengers from Uzbekistan to major destinations across the GCC, Europe, the Levant, and North America. It aims to strengthen commercial and cultural ties between Central Asia and international centers.

Further enhancing connectivity, Etihad has also established a codeshare partnership with Uzbekistan Airways. This collaboration allows travelers to access eight additional destinations within Uzbekistan, including Andijan, Bukhara, Fergana, Namangan, Nukus, Samarkand, Termez, and Urgench, alongside selected domestic points.
