In Valencia, Spain, one person died in a separate wildfire, with many others suffering from smoke inhalation. Firefighting crews, supported by air and ground resources, are working to contain the situation, though risks remain.

France has mobilized significant military resources, including 1,500 soldiers and helicopters, and for the first time, an Airbus A400M military transport aircraft equipped for firefighting. This aircraft can deliver 20 tons of water or retardant per sortie. The wildfires are also affecting the United Kingdom, where an emergency has been declared in Scotland's Cairngorms National Park due to a fire that has been burning for ten days. Local authorities have requested military assistance from London.
