Three dead, two injured in horrific Bursa car crash

A tragic accident occurred in Bursa, Turkey, when a passenger car veered off the road and collided with a concrete wall beneath a bridge. The incident claimed the lives of three individuals and left two others injured.

The victims were identified as Begüm Şevval Usta, 26, who was driving the vehicle, along with passengers Nurettin Acar, 73, and Müzeyyen Acar, 74. The injured, Filiz Usta, 51, and a 14-year-old identified only as Ş.A., were transported to a hospital for treatment.

The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. in the Karacabey district. The vehicle was traveling from Balıkesir towards Bursa when the driver lost control, leading to the fatal impact with the bridge's concrete support.

Emergency services, including police, firefighters, and medical teams, responded to the scene. Firefighters worked to extricate those trapped in the vehicle. Following initial medical assessments, the injured were taken to the hospital, and the deceased were transported for forensic examination.

The Karacabey Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated an investigation into the cause of the accident, citing carelessness and lack of precaution as potential factors.
