European Aquatics Championships: Pavlopoulou Reaches 200m Medley Semifinals

Greek swimmer Nikol Pavlopoulou delivered an impressive performance at the European Aquatics Championships in Paris, securing her spot in the semifinals of the 200-meter individual medley.

Pavlopoulou finished third in her preliminary heat with a time of 2:13.38. This strong showing placed her seventh overall among the competitors, comfortably earning her a place in the afternoon's semifinal round.

Throughout the race, Pavlopoulou maintained a solid pace for the first 100 meters. She then managed her effort effectively through the breaststroke and freestyle legs, ensuring her advancement to the semifinals without facing significant pressure.

She is now set to compete for a place in the final on August 14, aiming to advance further in the prestigious Paris-based competition. The top preliminary performance was recorded by Gosego with a time of 2:11.87.
