The situation worsened when Dilane Bakwa extended Lille's lead to 2-0 in the 84th minute, putting the French champions on the brink of defeat.

However, PSG staged a dramatic late comeback. Vitinha scored in the first minute of stoppage time, reducing the deficit. Just four minutes later, he provided an assist for Marquinhos, who headed home the equalizer, securing a 2-2 draw and preventing PSG's first loss of the season.
