European Trade Office Head Visits Taiwan Drone Center to Explore Industry Cooperation

A high-level delegation from Europe has visited Taiwan, signaling a potential boost for the island's burgeoning drone industry. Lutz Güllner, head of the European Economic and Trade Office, toured the Asia Drone AI Innovation and Application Research Center in Chiayi County, a hub for drone technology development.

The visit, which also included Chiayi County Magistrate Weng Chang-liang and legislator Chen Guan-ting, focused on identifying avenues for collaboration between Taiwanese and European entities in the drone sector. This engagement underscores Taiwan's strategic push to establish itself as a key player in the global drone market, leveraging its technological capabilities and research infrastructure.
