EVMs Don't Have Internet, Bluetooth Or Wi-Fi, Says Poll Body Chief

The chief of India's Election Commission has strongly refuted claims that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used in the country's elections are vulnerable to hacking or manipulation.

Responding to ongoing questions surrounding the security of the voting machines, the poll body chief stressed that the EVMs are entirely offline. He explicitly stated that the machines lack any internet, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi connectivity, thereby preventing any external remote access or interference.
