A former aide to independent lawmaker Kim Byung-ki has formally requested an audit of current and former chiefs of the National Investigation Headquarters, alleging that the investigation into Kim's alleged misconduct is being unduly delayed. The aide, identified as Mr. Kim, submitted a petition to the National Police Agency Committee, seeking a review of the entire process concerning the case involving Rep. Kim.
