The singer confessed to dating "the worst kinds of men" in her youth, citing instances of infidelity, theft of her watch, and even physical confinement.

One particularly painful experience involved a fiancé who was simultaneously dating another woman. This betrayal led Lee Hee-jin to avoid romantic relationships for a significant period, fearing intimacy and pushing away potential partners. She admitted to being scared of dating men after this incident.

They would not only cheat, but they would borrow my watch and secretly sell it, or lock me up at home to prevent me from seeing other people.

However, Lee Hee-jin expressed that she is now ready to open her heart to romance again. She also mentioned the pressure from her former bandmates, most of whom are married, with only Yoon Eun-hye remaining single alongside her. Lee Hee-jin debuted in 1997 with Baby Vox and recently gained attention for reuniting with her group on stage.
