Ex-Trump advisor Flynn lobbies for Republika Srpska for $100,000 monthly

Michael Flynn, a retired general and former national security advisor under Donald Trump, is now reportedly a paid lobbyist for Republika Srpska, the Bosnian Serb entity. Media reports indicate he is receiving $100,000 per month for his services, a move that has drawn significant attention.

Flynn's career in the U.S. government was cut short during Trump's first term when he admitted to lying to FBI investigators about his contacts with Russian officials. Although Trump later pardoned him, his public service ended abruptly. He has now officially registered with the U.S. Department of Justice's Office of Foreign Agents Registration, confirming his role as a lobbyist for Republika Srpska.

According to reports, Flynn provides strategic advice and facilitates connections with U.S. government officials for the entity. His influence is believed to have played a role in Washington's decision to lift sanctions against Milorad Dodik, the former president of Republika Srpska, last year. Flynn also visited Banja Luka in March, criticizing the EU on local television and reportedly stating that Islam is a political philosophy rather than a religion.
