Exhibition showcases rehabilitation through art

Paintings, carvings and other creative works by inmates went on display in Fiji earlier this week at the Behind the Walls exhibition.

The event forms part of the Fiji Corrections Service’s Yellow Ribbon Project, which uses art to help inmates express themselves while preparing for life beyond prison walls.

The project also aims to support rehabilitation and reintegration by giving inmates an opportunity to develop and present their creative work.
