Expand Drone Services to Cut Maternal Deaths, Zipline Urges Ghana

Ghana's government should consider a nationwide expansion of its medical drone delivery services as a critical strategy to lower the country's maternal mortality ratio. Zipline has been operating drone delivery services in Ghana, focusing on delivering vital medical supplies to remote and hard-to-reach areas. This initiative aims to overcome logistical challenges that often hinder timely access to healthcare, particularly for pregnant women and mothers in critical need of medical attention.
