Expo 2027 awards 368 million dinar contract for uniforms to Biljana Tipsarević and Luss Textile

The company "Expo 2027" has awarded a significant contract for the design, production, and delivery of uniforms for its employees and volunteers. The framework agreement, valued at 367.9 million Serbian dinars (approximately $3.4 million USD, excluding VAT), was granted to a consortium led by LUSS Textile and the Fashion Atelier Biljana Tipsarević.

This agreement encompasses the creation of 209,141 pieces of clothing and equipment. The collection, named "Playmakers," will align with the visual identity of the Expo 2027 exhibition. The volunteer line includes items such as t-shirts, polo shirts, trousers, hoodies, dresses, scarves, bandanas, windbreakers, and backpacks.

For employees, the uniform options include polo shirts and windbreakers. A separate line for other staff members features items like blazers, shirts, business trousers and skirts, suits, dresses, hoodies, windbreakers, shorts, ties, and scarves. The collection will incorporate distinctive elements of the Expo 2027 visual identity, drawing inspiration from Pirot kilim motifs and the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, under the theme "Play for Humanity."

The specialized exhibition, Expo 2027 Belgrade, is scheduled to take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027. It anticipates participation from 143 international exhibitors and expects over four million visitors during its 93-day run.
