Expo Amambay 2026 launched in Pedro Juan Caballero

The launch event for the 29th edition of Expo Amambay was held Saturday at the headquarters of the Rural Association of Paraguay (ARP), Regional Amambay, in Pedro Juan Caballero. The agricultural and commercial fair is scheduled to run from October 10 to October 18.

Organizers emphasized that the expo serves as a crucial opportunity to highlight the positive attributes of the Amambay region. Dr. César Rodríguez, president of ARP Regional Amambay, presided over the launch, which was attended by local, departmental, and national authorities, as well as special guests. Speakers at the event stressed the fair's role in promoting regional development and showcasing its potential.

Eng. Conrado Rodríguez, the Expo Amambay 2026 coordinator, detailed the event's focus on generating significant business, particularly in the livestock sector through auctions. The fair will also feature commercial activities, services, and other attractions designed to draw the public. The expo will be held at the Marcos Paredes Ramírez Exhibition Field, located on Route PY05.

Beyond business opportunities, Expo Amambay will offer a variety of entertainment, including a funfair, live performances by artists, and an American rodeo. Educational components, such as talks and discussions, are also planned, aiming to provide value to attendees. The event is anticipated to attract a diverse audience, from industry professionals to families seeking entertainment.
