Expo Vega Real 2026 Concludes Successfully in Dominican Republic

The 30th edition of Expo Vega Real 2026, organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Production of La Vega, has concluded successfully, drawing significant participation from companies across various sectors. The event facilitated commercial agreements and generated sales for products and services, according to organizers.

This year's expo was dedicated to the Ministry of Sports and Recreation, under Minister Kelvin Cruz. Over 150 companies and public institutions exhibited their offerings, engaging in commercial displays, sports activities, and informational sessions. Odil Morilla, president of the Chamber of Commerce, expressed deep gratitude for the robust support from participating companies, sponsors, and visitors, emphasizing that reaching the 30-year milestone with such a high-caliber event demonstrates strong confidence from all involved.

Sectors experiencing the most commercial activity included mass consumption, real estate, banking, livestock, and automotive industries. Beyond business, the expo featured cultural and sporting events, such as padel, basketball, chess, volleyball, judo tournaments, and a 5K Glow Runner race. Funds from the race supported the "Dios Me Hizo Bella" Foundation, which assists breast cancer survivors. The event's motto, "The sporting and commercial heart of the country, beats in La Vega," underscored its significance. During the inauguration, Morilla also requested a government council meeting in La Vega to address provincial priorities.
