Facundo Moyano's girlfriend speaks out after semi-naked escape incident

Candela Arizaga, girlfriend of Argentine politician Facundo Moyano, has broken her silence following an incident where she was seen escaping a building semi-naked in the early hours of Tuesday. She posted on social media that she is doing well, as is her pet, and acknowledged personal flaws.

Arizaga's statement comes after reports that building security alerted police when Moyano, son of former CGT secretary-general Hugo Moyano, rushed out of his building after a semi-naked woman. Security cameras captured both individuals at an intersection, showing signs consistent with drug consumption. Arizaga was subsequently taken to Pirovano Hospital by emergency services.

Moyano has been charged with slight injury and unlawful deprivation of liberty. He is currently free but must adhere to a 300-meter restraining order from the victim, provide a fixed address, and attend all court summons. His lawyer stated Arizaga was "devastated" and that while toxicology reports indicated cocaine use, he argued it was not consensual.

Arizaga's lawyer also raised concerns about irregularities in the investigation, noting a significant delay between a court-ordered search of the apartment and its execution, during which time an individual reportedly entered to remove items. The 23-year-old model and influencer, who has a substantial social media following, is seeking to be represented as a private victim in the case.
