Families pray at Bongeunsa Temple 100 days before CSAT

As the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) approaches, families are seeking spiritual support. On the morning of August 11, Bongeunsa Temple in Seoul's Samseong-dong buzzed with parents and guardians of high school seniors.

With the exam just 100 days away, mothers gathered before the main hall, hands clasped in prayer under the hot sun. They offered food and performed 108 prostrations, clutching prayer scrolls bearing their children's names. Sweat beaded on their foreheads, but their devotion remained unwavering.

"I will come for morning prayers every day for the next 100 days." Another mother, her eyes welling up, simply wished for her child's health and ability to perform well on the exam.

Bongeunsa Temple is hosting a special 100-day prayer event daily until the CSAT on November 19. A temple official stated, "While the desire for success is precious, we pray above all for students to find peace of mind and fully demonstrate the skills they have honed."
