FamilyMart to recruit 400 management trainees, aiming for million-dollar salaries within two years

FamilyMart (5903) is launching a significant recruitment drive, aiming to hire over 1,000 full-time employees this year as part of its strategy to adapt to demographic shifts and the evolving retail landscape. The initiative focuses on "entry at your doorstep, rapid growth, diversity and inclusion, and technology assistance," offering a multifaceted career path from frontline store positions to headquarters roles.

A major focus of the recruitment is the 400 management trainee positions. These roles offer a fast track to leadership, with the potential for trainees to become multi-store managers within 11 months. The company highlights a significant salary increase of over 80% in the first year, with the possibility of earning over NT$1 million annually by the second year.

Starting salaries for management trainees are NT$37,480, with potential increases to NT$45,270 after evaluations. Through store experience, systematic training, and a transparent promotion process, new hires can build practical operational skills and advance their careers.

FamilyMart is also committed to fostering a diverse workforce, actively recruiting international talent. Since 2024, the company has operated an "International Training Program," currently employing partners from nine countries across over 600 stores, with foreign employees now representing over 10% of its in-store workforce. The company is implementing initiatives like an "AI Store Assistant" supporting multiple languages and providing an "AI learning tutor" for foreign staff to ease language barriers.

Beyond store operations, FamilyMart is seeking talent in AI and digital fields, engineering management, green jobs, and childcare. The company will participate in a career fair on July 4th to connect with potential candidates.
