Far-right figure Milo Yiannopoulos arrested by ICE in Louisiana

Milo Yiannopoulos, the outspoken and often controversial far-right commentator, has been arrested and is currently in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Reports citing the New York Post and TMZ indicate that the 41-year-old British national was detained at an airport in Louisiana.

The exact circumstances and reasons for Yiannopoulos's arrest have not yet been disclosed. He is widely known for his provocative rhetoric and his past role as a representative for the rapper Kanye West. In 2022, Yiannopoulos served as an unpaid intern for former U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene and was involved in Kanye West's 2024 presidential campaign as director of political operations.

Notably, Yiannopoulos was instrumental in organizing a high-profile dinner in 2022 that included then-President Donald Trump, Kanye West, and white nationalist Nick Fuentes. His collaboration with West reportedly ended in May 2024, following West's announcement of plans to create an adult entertainment studio under the Yeezy brand.

When contacted by the Post, the Department of Homeland Security did not provide a comment on the matter. An email sent to a representative for Yiannopoulos also remained unanswered, leaving the details of his detention unclear.
